About

After several weeks of tears, fears and expressed breast milk following the birth of my daughter I decided to go and see someone about this weird feeling I kept getting, as though I were about to tip over on a chair and fall off a cliff. It turned out that the feeling was post natal anxiety with a dashing of ptsd for good measure.

Youdontlooklikeamum was born, not only because I just could not get enough of giving birth, but also because the more I wrote the more I found other mothers chirping the words “me too” and there’s nothing more powerful than a group of postnatal women all on the same page.
